Fire Adapted Nevada Summit
March 17 & 18, 2025
Mark your calendars for the 2025 Fire Adapted Nevada Summit on March 17th and 18th at the Joe Crowley Student Union on the UNR campus. The summit is your chance to kickstart or advance your fire adaptation journey in Nevada.

- Connect with other Fire Adapted Nevada (FAN) communities
- Engage with local, county, state, and federal fire agencies
- Discover grant opportunities and other resources to support your community’s fire adaptation efforts

Where is the conference?
The Fire Adapted Nevada Summit will be held at the Joe Crowley Student Union (JCSU), room 419 at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Will there be food?
Yes! We will be serving breakfast on both days and lunch on the 17th. If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know on your registration form.
Limited travel stipends are available!
Live more than 50 miles away from Reno? If so, we’re offering limited participant travel stipends. If you would like to apply for the participant stipend, email us at LWF@unr.edu
Parking at the University of Nevada, Reno
Free parking will be available on the top two levels of the West Stadium Parking Complex.
Parking Pass: Each attendee will need to print a dashboard parking pass and place it within sight for the parking attendants. You will receive a link to download the parking pass after registering for the summit.

Field trip
Join us for a site visit in the Reno area to see an example of community wide fuels-reduction work. More details to come!
Claim your spot: Participation in the field trip is limited. If you’re interested in attending, sign up for the field trip on your registration form.
